When will I receive my box?
Boxes will be dispatched on a date between 21st to 28th of each month. You will receive an email to notify you that it has been shipped, along with a tracking number.
The first box you receive will coincide with the month you purchase it. If you purchase a subscription, payments are taken on the 1st of each month. If you would like to skip a box or payment, you can do this on your customer portal.
You will need to be over 18 to receive your box (and may be
asked to show ID on delivery).
What beers will I receive?
You will receive some of UK's best craft beers from 3 different hand-picked breweries in every box. We've travelled to some great independent breweries throughout the UK to find the best produce, always fresh. The box will change each month, with styles, brewing methods and sizes varying, but we'll always make sure to give you the best quality beer, at the best possible value every time!
What book will I receive?
You'll receive a carefully chosen book, likely a fiction, crime or thriller. Suggested by the experts at our publishing distributor and rubber stamped by the voracious readers in our team. Only the best, most well reviewed reads will make it into the final box.
How and when will I pay?
If you purchase a subscription, you’ll be charged at time of purchase for your first box and then the 1st of every subsequent month that you’re subscribed. Each payment will coincide with that month's box.
We accept most major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple and Google Pay.
Where can I go to discuss this month’s box?
This is where the ‘club’ comes in. We’d love to hear your feedback and chat with you about the contents of our boxes. What did you think about the book? Which beer was your favourite?
There is a closed Facebook group used to discuss the books and beer in each months box. There will be a QR code on the e-leaflet that is emailed to you after each box is shipped. Request to join and it will be approved by one of our team as soon as possible.
Can I buy as a gift?
Absolutely. We think that there's no greater gift than the gift of books and beer!
You are able to set the delivery address and name to whoever you want whilst handling the billing side of things yourself.
If you let us know it's a gift we'll make sure we keep you informed of any important updates. We can also chat about delivery scheduling to make sure the box arrives at the right time.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You are able to amend, pause or cancel your subscription at any time using our customer portal. You will be sent a link to this when you make a subscription order.
Is your packaging recyclable?
This is really important to us. All of our packaging has been chosen because of its recyclable nature. The pack fill is reused cardboard from our warehouse and our tape and boxes are all 100% recyclable.
We will always do our best to choose cans that are able to be recycled, but as these come from a 3rd party, please check individual containers.
We pride ourselves on working with couriers and breweries that are, or working toward, being carbon neutral.
Is the beer Vegan?
The majority of the chosen beers will be vegan, we cannot however guarantee that this will be the case in every box, please read the ingredients to make sure. If you have any questions or would like to discuss swapping non-vegan beers please email admin@thebookandbeerclub.co.uk
They are also likely not to be gluten free.
For any allergens please read the individual beer ingredients.
Do you accept returns?
Generally, we don’t accept returns, however in the unlikely
event of any damage during delivery please contact admin@thebookandbeerclub.co.uk and we can discuss a replacement.
Do you deliver internationally?
Not at the moment! We currently deliver to mainland UK.
